How To Apply a French Mani
Ever wonder how to make an acrylic french manicure with dipping powder only? Well, check it out 'cause we got you covered. Here's the final look!
PRO TIP: Powders may settle and become dense sitting overtime and can create uneven dipping results. For easy dipping, loosen powders by shaking jars while closed or stir with a clean utensil prior to use.

Step 1a: Push back cuticles.

Step 1b: Shape & buff nails.

Step 1c: Sanitize hands & nails thoroughly.

Step 2: Apply a coat of Bond to all fingernails.

Step 3: Apply a coat of Base starting halfway onto the nail surface, stroking out towards the nail tip.

-Avoid getting the product on cuticles.
-The powder will pick up wherever Base is applied.

Step 4a: Quickly dip nails halfway into Base & Finish Essential Powder.

Step 4b: Hold finger straight down and use a clean brush to remove excess powder from around the nail plate & nail surface.

Step 5: Apply another coat of Base to the entire nail surface.

-Avoid getting the product on cuticles.
-The powder will pick up wherever Base is applied.

Step 6: Quickly dip the tip of your nails at a 45-degree angle into choice of white acrylic dipping powder, creating a French tip smile line.

-The deeper the nail is dipped, the thicker the white smile line becomes.

Step 7a: Hold finger straight down and tap gently to rid of any loose white dipping powder. Quickly dip the remaining wet nail plate into choice of pink acrylic dipping powder.

Step 7b: Hold finger straight down and use a clean brush to gently remove excess powder from around the nail plate & nail surface.

Step 8: Repeat steps 5-7b for more coverage.

Step 9: Apply another coat of Base to the entire nail surface.

-Avoid getting the product on cuticles.
-The powder will pick up wherever Base is applied.

Step 10a: Quickly dip the entire nail surface into Base & Finish Essential Powder, sealing all layers of powder.

Step 10b: Hold finger straight down & use a clean brush to gently remove excess powder from around the nail plate & nail surface.

Step 11: Apply a coat of Activator to harden the blend of powder & liquid.

-Allow two minutes for Activator to dry completely.

Step 12a: When the blend of powder and liquid has hardened, file nails to the desired shape.

Step 12b: Use a drill or coarse grit buffer to even out the preferred thickness of the nails.

Step 12c: Use a 240 grit buffer to smooth the nail surface.

Step 13a: Wash hands and nails thoroughly.

Step 13b: Use a lint-free cloth to wipe the nail surface with alcohol.
-Be sure to wipe every crevice.

Step 13c: Apply another coat of Activator.
-Allow 3-5 minutes for nails to dry completely.

Step 14a: Apply a coat of Sealer.
-Allow 3 minutes for nails to dry.

Step 14b: Apply a second coat of Sealer.
-Allow 3 minutes for nails to dry completely.

PRO TIPS:

1. To extend product life, be sure to wipe neck and rims of bottles with alcohol immediately after each set of application. Close caps tightly and store in a cool environment away from heat and direct sunlight. If not cleaned properly, caps may become difficult to open for future use.

2. Brushes may harden or pick up color powder during application. Simply switch them between Brush Softener for easy cleaning & workability.
